Ballyrogan Expression: Art Exhibition at Arklow Library

I'm thrilled to have curated this exhibition at Arklow Library, bringing together a collection of works by artists whose practices resonate deeply with themes of memory, resilience, and connection to place. Ballyrogan Expression is more than just a showcase—it’s a gathering of voices, perspectives, and shared artistic lineage.

Running from March 3rd – March 31st, 2025, this exhibition features a selection of painting, printmaking, photography, and mixed media, each piece telling its own story while weaving into the larger narrative of creative expression.

I’m proud to present works by:

  • Andrew Manson – Painter & Art Director, known for his work in film and international exhibitions

  • Attracta Manson – Printmaker & fine artist exploring layered narratives

  • Maisie McNeice – Nature-inspired printmaker working between Ireland & Italy

  • Robert Manson – Award-winning independent filmmaker and visual artist

  • Sarah Manson – Multidisciplinary artist working in painting, filmmaking & printmaking

Each artist brings a unique perspective, from intimate reflections on personal history to bold explorations of contemporary life. Some works are deeply rooted in Irish culture and landscape, while others reach beyond, drawing on global experiences and abstract interpretations.

📍 Location: Arklow Library, Co. Wicklow
📅 Dates: March 3rd – March 31st, 2025
